Astray - Xela and Cynder

Now appearing in their anthro forms, it's Xela and Cynder! X3

The duo of Xela, the Mudkip, and Cynder, the Cyndaqil, make up an Expedition Team which got its start at the legendary Wigglytuff's Guild. After ascending to the highest ranks, the two set out on their own and were ultimately called upon by Team Astray to serve as the groups private Expedition Team. Thanks to these two, Team Astray has been able to keep its previously mounting financial troubles at bay and have almost broken even thanks to the duo's work, all in spite of the additional costs that came along with operating the Rescue Team.

Team Astray's Expedition Team is the biggest recruiter of new blood into the guild, bringing many new faces to the team in order to help them out in their many new mystery dungeon adventures. Still, this may not be the best method of trying to weasel your way into the Astray Ranks. Before teleporting a new member back to the guild with his explorer badge, Cynder gives each new recruit a secret passcode to repeat to the guild members when they arrive at the base. That passcode could mean that they are to be accepted as new Expedition Team Recruits... Or it could translate into "Hello there, I'm Lunch!"



My little Mudkip anthro turned out better than I figured it would. I'd like to thank for one of his recent pictures, it helped a lot with getting the head design figured out. That little symbol on their outfits is, until I come up with something better, the badge that symbolizes their affiliation with Team Astray.

Also, knowing that this really is my mysterious dungeon team... can you figure out which is the Leader and which is the Partner? There's a big hint as clear as day right there in the image if you need it... XD
